Summertime is officially here… and, so is swimsuit season.
Is it just me, or are bathing suits suddenly $300 and every bikini bottom is basically dental floss? I may be 27, but I’m also a mom of 3, and for family pool day I’d prefer to keep at least some mystery alive.
After too much scrolling, ordering, returning, and reading reviews at midnight, I’ve finally rounded up some of my favorite places to shop for swimsuits that are flattering, fuller coverage, and actually affordable.. and by affordable, I mean UNDER $50 for the whole set. Yes — top and bottom. We love a budget-friendly queen. ✨
So if you’re looking for cute swim without the sticker shock (or accidental cheek exposure), keep scrolling. Happy Summer ☀ !
H&M
H&M is honestly one of the most underrated places for swimwear. You don’t immediately think “swimsuits” when you walk in, but trust me they have some gems. Think modern styles, chic dark colors, elevated cuts, and pieces that actually look expensive. Bonus: you can grab your beach hat, tote, sandals, and basically your entire vacation personality while you’re there too.
Cupshe
TONS of options. And when I say tons… I mean you could scroll for 4 business days and still not see everything. One of my favorite things about Cupshe is that most bikinis come in sets, but you can choose different sizes for the top and bottom (needed ). They also do fun collabs with celebs and always have cute colors, prints, and styles. Most suits are under $50 too, which feels rare these days.
Target
Ahhh Target. One of the great loves of my life. Truly, is there anything this store can’t do? Lately they’ve been absolutely crushing it in the clothing department, especially swim. Whether you want cheeky, full coverage, tiny bikini, sporty mom-at-the-splash-pad vibes, or a classic one-piece, they have it all. Plus their coverups and beach bags always get me. I go in for sunscreen and somehow leave with a cart full of happiness.

Amazon
Listen… Amazon swim can be risky. Sometimes you order “coastal chic” and receive “Vegas pool party” but I’ve actually found some really good ones over the years. My favorite finds are the 3-piece sets with a matching sarong or coverup included. Cute and practical. Quality can definitely vary, but when you find a winner, it’s a WINNER. I will say a lot of Amazon suits run a little cheekier, so maybe save those for girls trips, vacations, or pretending you’re on Love Island for the weekend.

You can find the exact suits I’m wearing in these photos plus a bunch more favorites from all of these stores on my LTK under “2026 Swim Finds.”
